I made this Challenger 2 model after looking back at my old work. I found an old render of a Challenger 2 that I once thought was amazing—now, I’m honestly embarrassed to even show it.
However, this new model is one I’m insanely proud of. It’s one of my most detailed models to date, combining elements from both the combat version and the training variant, featuring ERA side armor and RPG cages.
The texture lets it down a bit, but the model itself is highly detailed. I even used it in an Unreal Engine 5 test I was working on.
The Challenger 2 is Britain’s main battle tank, introduced in the late 1990s. Known for its Dorchester composite armor, it’s one of the most well-protected tanks in the world. Armed with a 120mm L30A1 rifled gun, it has exceptional accuracy and can engage targets at long distances. The Challenger 2 has seen combat in Iraq and remains in service with the British Army, proving its durability and reliability on the battlefield.
