Me and my friend Stefan were playing Arma 3 on a King of the Hill server, using the BMP-2. At one point, he said, "You should model this." I brushed it off at first but later decided to give it a shot. I quickly burned out, though—I spent way too much time on the tracks and ended up making the body just to showcase them.
The tracks are almost 1:1 accurate, with fully modeled suspension. However, the turret is just a placeholder and not even close to the real thing.
The BMP-2K is a command variant of the BMP-2, a Soviet-era infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) introduced in the early 1980s. Designed for better battlefield coordination, the BMP-2K features additional radio equipment and an altered internal layout for command use. Like the standard BMP-2, it retains the 30mm 2A42 autocannon and Konkurs ATGM launcher, making it effective against infantry and light armor. The vehicle was widely used by Soviet and later Russian forces, as well as many other nations, due to its mobility, amphibious capability, and firepower.
