I have no idea when I made this CIWS, but it’s super old. It’s based on the American version.
The Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) is an automated point-defense system designed to protect ships from incoming missiles, aircraft, and small boats. The most well-known American CIWS is the Phalanx, which features a 20mm M61 Vulcan Gatling gun capable of firing up to 4,500 rounds per minute. These systems are a last line of defense, using radar-guided targeting to intercept threats at close range.
